Specializations

  • Relationships

Relationships are a fundamental part of our lives. I help you navigate and gain insight into the positive and negative dynamics of past and present relationships with family, romantic partners, friends, and co-workers.

  • Traumatic Experiences

Traumatic (aka deeply distressing) experiences can cause feelings of vulnerability, depression, anxiety, derealization, and depersonalization. I provide a safe space for you to process what happened and begin to heal.

  • Life Transitions

Navigating life changes, transitions, and new beginnings can feel overwhelming, leaving you feeling stressed, lost, and disconnected. I serve as your partner in navigating and finding meaning in these changes.

  • Loss and Grief

Our lives can be turned upside down when someone we love dies. Grief has no roadmap and is not time-limited. I am your partner in the grieving process, so that you may feel less alone in this devastating and often isolating experience.

  • Medical Conditions

When you or a family member receives a new medical diagnosis or are living with a chronic medical condition, feelings of stress, anxiety/fear, depression, and loneliness are common. We will explore your experience, and I will support you as you adjust to a new normal.

  • Introverted and HSP

Identifying as introverted and/or a highly sensitive person (HSP) can be a special thing, but sometimes increases the likelihood of periods of anxiety and depression. We will develop a plan that helps you manage stress and overwhelm, and harnesses your unique strengths.

  • Perinatal Mental Health

Pregnancy and becoming a new mom are life-changing experiences, but also increase the risk for anxiety and depression due to hormonal changes, traumatic birth and loss, and unmet expectations. You do not need to manage these feelings alone.

  • Parenting

Parenting is one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences in life. If you would like support adjusting to becoming a parent, managing the many tasks parenting requires, or have questions about your child’s behaviors and development, I am here for you.

  • General Exploration

Perhaps you are experiencing a crisis of meaning, or are curious to understand how your identities developed. Or perhaps you fall into a grateful, but not satisfied category. If you have a desire to self-reflect and have open dialogue about such things, I would love to help.
